Youth and the Law
Empowering Youth to stay on the Right Side of the Law
Youth and the Law is a legal awareness and decision making program for youth ages 12-17 located in Orange County, California. Designed to prevent juvenile delinquency, provide early intervention, teach adolescents healthy decision making skills and empower parents, this program stands out by providing youth and parents with the knowledge and tools to make lasting, positive changes in their lives.
By providing an understanding of the role of law in our lives, the consequences of violating or disregarding those laws, and reasons for staying on the “right” side of the law, a comprehensive, positive and meaningful message is presented that respects an adolescent’s evolving identity while clearly emphasizing safe and healthy development from dangerous and destructive lifestyle choices.
The signature element that distinguishes Youth and the Law is the quality, experience, integrity and sincere dedication of its staff and speakers to assist youth and strengthen parents in making positive changes. Speakers include Probation Officers, Probation Director, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, law enforcement officers, etc.
